I can't find the link for the thread for installation of dual fuel pumps. Where is the most detailed source of information. I'm pretty sure I can't use the 03/04 Cobra fuel hat and I don't know how to add the hole for the additional fuel line.
Thanks
Yes, it will work. If it came from another Cobra it should be fine. Those are the only short blocks I know of that will have the eight bolt crank you require. You will have to change out the nipple behind the water pump. You can use the Mustang GT nipple from 99 to 04. They are cheaper. I...
I'm going to run the On3 turbo setup and they require you to convert to the UPR K-member that uses coil overs. It's nice to hear that the ride pretty much sucks stock or with coil overs. Oh well, I had never had a Mustang prior to my 99 Cobra. I was surprised how terrible these things ride...
With the car standing still, when I put the transmission into 1st gear I get a thunk sound. Also when I shift into 2nd, I get the thunk sound also. In both instances the clutch is pushed in. If I'm extremely easy on the shift it doesn't happen. Does this seem like a transmission issue or an...
I just finished rebuilding my engine. There are 6 places that require silicon: (2) on the timing cover are where the oilpan, timing cover, and block meet ; (2) where the heads meet the block; (2) where the timing cover, block and valve cover meet. Run an 1/8" bead of silicon/RTV in those areas...
Looking for some rear rotors on the cheap that aren't entirely crap. The Motorcraft rotors seem to be to expensive to justify the price. Any experiences good or bad with cheaper aftermarket rotors?
Not a problem. You live and learn. I didn't beat the crap out of it to get it on. I ended up taking it back off and putting it on with the appropriate tools because I hadn't used RTV on the key. I had just been rushing because I didn't want to leave the car in my drive way any longer because...
Holy shit, I thought I remembered there not being a gasket on the Passenger side exhaust. Boy was I wrong. I even looked it up in the factory manual and it doesn't show it. Tasca didn't show it in it's exploded parts view either. When I went a ahead and removed the head pipe again and...
They should be the same for nearly all 4.6 engines. So the any junk yard should have them. They were the same bolts on my '99 as they were on a 2010 Crown Vic engine I pulled.
I reused my exhaust gaskets in rebuilding my engine. I have an exhaust leak, but I'm not sure if it's coming from the gasket or the where the manifold meets the header pipe. I applied some extra torque to the lower bolts on the manifold. I could get to the upper bolts (unless someone knows...
It's a T45. I just panicked because I just rebuilt the engine and started the break-in and I was like all ****, I ****ed up the trans and I'm going to have to take that aggravating mother ****er back out. Luckily, it was the white plastic bushing that the shifter ball end goes in. It had...
