So I just bought model E-1D from here. We will see how it fits when she arrives. Figure $5.75+shipping for a little more peace of mind is worth it. Engine Zinc Anodes (Complete) - Specifications & Cross Reference

    Grounding Woes

So odd question, but any of yall know the engine grounding location on these cars? There's what looks like a battery to chassis ground at the passenger side shock tower mount. My understanding from looking at swapping out the alternator is that there is a grounding wire from it to the battery...

    Grounding Woes

I just pinged C&R for the plug dimensions. The tank is about 3" wide but I wouldn't use anything that went in further than 2-2.5" from the side otherwise it'll restrict flow from one of the tubes.

    Grounding Woes

So the dual intercooler fan probably had two grounds you had to attach to the chassis somewhere. One of mine came loose and im assuming that is what caused the voltage in the radiator. As a failsafe for the future, if it happens again or something else causes an errant voltage, I ran a 10g...

    Grounding Woes

I'm glad I took the old one to the radiator shop because if he hadn't told me, id have had no clue to even check and C&R radiators are a little spendy to be replacing every few months. Thats why this time I'm running a ground from the radiator and intercooler. Then once assembled im still gonna...

    Grounding Woes

Thats what I'm told. I pulled the radiator after it started to leak and then the leaks accelerated. Radiator shop said based on where its leaking from, residue coming out of the radiator, his professional opinion was I didnt have something grounded right and voltage was making it into the...

    Grounding Woes

So it appears errant voltage in my coolant ate through a pricey aluminum radiator id installed. Anyone know some common grounding points and their locations that I might check before I start doing the more I depth fuse pulling game?

    C&R/Shelby Radiator Install

I didn't really notice a drop in coolant temp but I also haven't really gone out and flogged it. I can tell you that I had a leak and drained the coolant reservoir in the summer and I never had a temp spike. Car ran just fine and never warmed up. The only temp drop seen was from the other...

A little goofy, but...who here has the highest mileage GT500?

Ahh ok, so essentially in modded til 178k? Still damn fine for not needing any major repairs. I haven't replaced the clutch since 30k miles when Ford did the TSB on mine. I have gone through the suspension for mods, smoked the Ford rearend and replaced it with a Detroit Tru-trac and I did the...
