I highly doubt it. The input shaft/TOB sleeve will be in between the pivot ball and where you disconnected your cable.
I've never heard of someone adjusting the pivot ball with the transmission in the car.
I've been going around in circles with a TOB chirp issue on my car as well. Still not...
Most likely it's just somewhat overfilled. Going to the fill level hole on that FRPP cover is about 2 quarts. I believe it needs to be about 1.5 quarts to not puke out of the vent.
I have OEM 10th's on my Anniversary coupe.
Just picked up a set of 10th replicas so I can go staggered and run the 315 Toyo TQ's I have sitting in the garage. Going to get them powdercoated to set it apart a little bit, but I didn't want to go away from the original 10th Anniversary theme.
