    Yellowstone Season 4

Anybody else think it’s strange that Beth told her dad that she would tell him all they had lost the next day after the left the hospital, which we didn’t see. Then when we did see Kacey after John got home from the hospital several things look off, Beth doesn’t go out and talk with John and...

The long ram version was a high torque setup with hydraulic cam. Wasn’t racy at all but made big torque with the longer runners. It was called sonoramic tuning and was the precursor to today’s tuned long runner factory intakes.

That’s a early sixties Max Wedge.....they came originally in 413 “ then 426” versions. They were high compression (13.5:1) solid cam race motors. The precursor to the Hemi. That is a factory cross ram setup, they still run them successfully in several super stock classes.

I have a twin of that python from the ‘70s except polished instead of matte stainless. Awesome piece, incredible shooter.

I agree, older security six’s and GP100’s are very strong, typically accurate pieces. I don’t think I’ve ever tried one that was out of time, they aren’t quite as fast for speed work like plate shooting as the trigger doesn’t follow the finger on rebound as fast as a Smith’s, or Colt’s. For all...

Pythons are awesome, and in what I consider the “Keeper” category so if you get one I don’t think you’ll regret it....and they hold their value very well. That being said S&W’s are also typically excellent pieces at a much lower price point (still not cheap) hard to go wrong with them either...

If that’s brand new you may want to disassemble it and clean then lubricate it with a high quality synthetic lube...I’ve used some Tetra as well as other lubes for this. If you aren’t experienced with revolver disassembly then don’t do this....you can try some spray in lube into the action, just...

Crossing the thumbs behind the hammer versus stacking them like you would with an auto. The stocks on Pythons are pretty big so definitely take a little getting used to whether your shooting most double stack autos or single stack. Dry firing it double action really will work that out if you do...

    Gun Porn Thread!!!

As a python owner, along with several other Colts a couple suggestions would be to dry fire a little daily. If you are used to shooting S&W or Ruger revolvers the Colt trigger tends to feel much heavier. If you are used to auto pistols, again the trigger is quite a bit different. Dry firing a...

    Clutch pedal low?

Afternoon SVT people, So as the title implies I have a clutch pedal that’s about halfway up. Background is ‘12 BOSS with Roush 2.3 TVS running ten lbs of boost, was driving it sunday and while running it through the gears got locked out on the 3-4 shift. This isn’t unusual as it still has stock...

Oil pump drive gears - don't wait to install, trust me

So the motor that was designed to get thrashed for long periods of time (road course) at 7500 or a bit more has the same opg as a truck coyote? Doesn’t seem like a wise design choice.

I have one in 6mm cm, one friend has it in 6mm cm, and another in 6.5mm cm, and another friend who just bought one in .338 ....they all shoot fantastic! We shoot at a couple ranges in Ohio, one is a 1k range, the other goes to a mile. His .338 shoots very well at a mile, using cheaper ammo we...
