Problem is, all the mfgrs are blowing the govt as they chase eachother to the bottom, as each of them wants to be the last one left standing so they get the pat on the back from the govt and get all the govt and elite money.
They should've band together during Dieselgate and collectively told...
Nope, endgame is your inability to afford your own personal transportation. EV are a pathway to this. The powers that be HATE you and your middle class and the autonomy that the automobile provided.
Soon due to lack of power there will be limits on who can drive or where. Limits on charging...
You'd think so, but that's what the powers that be want. Heres why:
Without dealers buying cars en-masse to have numerous versions sitting for numerous people to buy, manufacturers wont produce in large quantities. They'll wait for x amount of orders before doing a run. This will drive the cost...

Crank the treadmill to max. There may...
Id assume people back then didnt have as much disposable income as they do now strangely. Plus back then interest rates kept the purchase prices low. Nowadays youd think that would start applying again, but the "gotta have it now" generation buys anyways instead of letting these cars sit on lots...
Two things:
Smog checks = revenue
Illegals = Votes
They dgaf about tracking the latter as it is part of their plans. The former they use to maintain revenue.

Exterior, they played it too safe and didn't do enough to call it a "new car" imo. This looks more like a moderate face-lift rather than a...
Dealers should band together and all decline EV sales then. Let Ford sell those direct and then when the prices stay high because without dealers buying inventory there's no incentive for them to keep mass producing, they won't lower prices and sell less, and dealers won't have to take the losses.
