Took these off yesterday. This morning about 1100 the car was running several degrees cooler...like 201 instead of 207. Nice improvement. But the real improvement was in performance and sound it sounded meaner.
160 mph at 5000 rpm. Johnson Motorsport tune. Removed MPH limiter and raised the rev limiter to 8000. Hill assist still works,about 3 seconds each try.
Picked up a live Wire tuner yesterday and loaded it today on the silver key. I took out the the side pipe plates the first day. Love the sound.

Well started pulling hoses off and when I get to the drivers side pcv valve I pulled it...Noise ceases. The noise is not at the hose but at the rear main bearing....So...there was a nice vacuum at idle on the valve cover. Since the pipe form this side goes to the Throttle Body hose..you know one...
I have been having this loud squealing emanating from between the rear of the oil pan and the conveter housing. Truck runs fine. More noticable at idle. Anyone have any such noise or related symtom? AT cruising speed I can't really hear it. I keep thinking something is rubbing ...but not sure...

Well the Long block has been replaced ..twice. The blower is the original and was ported around 70000 miles. I just put the wheels on with new nitto extreme 555's. New Hotchkis Bilsteins. The lowering kit is a Roush which went in around 50000 miles. Dyno Tuned with Predator by James @ RWTD.com...
Well I installed the new Hotchkis Shocks from ChickenEars today. The old Roush shocks seem tight and with visible leaks..hard to compress as well. I do find the ride is considerably better. New wheel bearings inner and outer and seals.New lower ball joints. They needed changing.
