AMO is the proper product code for 10W-40 used in the Shelby. Buy it anywhere you can find it there.

There is no downside storing the lubricant in a sealed container for that amount of time. I would suggest storing it in a place that will not ever be below freezing. No worries about the fluid in your engine during the winter. It's lighter than Motorcraft 5W-50 until MC has sheared after 2,000 miles.
