Love those! I've seen the first one around for a long time and its so very true.

Thankfully i'm not on the software side, network engineer, but I support a Data Center that hosts all sorts of wonky apps. Sometimes they can convince us to do weird shit to accommodate shit apps, but not often.

I had that tree/tire swing picture on my desk for years as a reminder of what not to do.

That meme definitely made me wince..

Yep me too, spent the better part of this week fixing crap that a guy left. Multiple versions of the project sitting around, not checked into source control with different variants of fixes.
