Long story short, I haven't made a pass in my Cobra at a drag strip in almost four years because of various things and I finally had a chance to go. Only had two darn passes all day due to sheer volume of racers, spills and breaks. Anywho, mods in sig. Enjoy!

26psi is a lot for only 137mph.
Alot of factors, car wasn't iced down at all, baby 1 5/8th " headers on the car and stock gearing with a 27" tire. Alot will bring more MPH once addressed. Like I said, first time back and wasn't fully prepared.

Was the 25lbs on your 2.75" pulley? I have been searching high and low for people who have used a 2.75" and I cannot find anybody that does/has. Could you give me some feedback on how the blower and car responded to that pulley? How much power you got from it? I am running a 3" right now, KB told me I would be fine with it on my 2.6 as long as I am running E85 which I am - I will be close to overspinning it but nothing to worry about so they said. With not a lot of info, it makes me question whether or not it is worth the additional problems that could arise.

Yes the 25lbs is on my 2.75" upper and stock lower. I had my concerns at first mostly with belt slip, but I grinded the tabs off of the factory tensioner and also replaced my auxiliary 90mm Metco idler to a 100mm idler. It doesn't slip one bit. I made 720 rwhp on a dynojet on VP110 with that boost. I haven't experienced any issues except for the expected result being the extra heat from spinning the blower to max.

I figured you moved, I haven't seen the car around in a while. Let me know if you ever want to sell that beast
