Both are awesome, but the ZL1 is a waaaay better all around performance car. Give me the ZL1 any day.

Cool video, fair and balanced (except for auto vs manual), and it looks like the 10SPD ZL1 will be equal to the Hellcat. Being 500lbs lighter is huge, not enough people recognize weight advantage. I would even be willing to bet, the 10SPD ZL1 might even beat the Hellcat on occasion. 11.08 @ 128 is the record for a showroom stock Hellcat. The Z might match that. Cannot weight to see the GT500 back in the game.

Doesn't make much sense if it's not going to be auto vs. auto or stick vs. stick. Nice to see, however, the transformation of auto being faster than stick nowadays. I wonder how the repair bill is for those 10 speeds.

Agreed, that was a simple straight line rolling WOT test, start adding any sort of cornering and the ZL1 will easily win.

Dodge proved they can make a big HP motor and stuff it in a fat pig. Cut weight and hire some suspension engineers to get that baby more nimble.

Lord some of you will fuss about anything. I don't know the first thing about this new ZL1 except that it looks pretty wicked (I'd still take a Hellcat though), but a quick search on AutoTrader shows 0 2017 ZL1s with automatics, leading me to believe there aren't any available right now.

The 10 speed auto's will not be available until spring to early summer of 2017.

not to take anything from the hellcat but you could see it lost on every shift. he didn't use the no lift shift. less weight and small blower 1.7 not to bad .we know the hellcat make more than 707. a whipper 2.9 be great on the zl1.

Performance aside, you could not pay me to sit behind the windshield of a Camaro. Awful viewpoint

Let's see this jackass wants to sell modded zl1s right? Meantime shifts the car like my 75 year old mother in a dogfight with a known quarter mile killer. F that video period he's as full of shit as a Christmas turkey. Yes Hellcat is fast and fat as hell... He's same one showing slight loss to a Zo6 the man is marketing that has been his calling card since he was stripping Vipers. Marketing genius. Buy this tune or 1900 hp conversion for 150k and beat that Challenger. GTFO
