I have an sct x4, Once you get a custom program the programmer can lock out any other adjustable parameters. I am thinking about the Intune by Diablo. I haven't gathered any info on it yet.
Flash tools do a number of things these days beside loading tunes. They're also gauges and they data log. Do some research and figure out which features you want. Make sure your favorite tuner uses that format or find a new tuner that does. Or wait and see what comes down the pike next. This seems to be an evolving market.
If you are going to use your flash tool as a gauge, make sure you can live with the mounting options. Frankly, I think there are better gauge packages than what's available on flash tools, along with mounting options.

We use SCT (X4 more specifically) and have tuned hundreds of 13-14 GT500's mail order and in house. We've worked with many vehicles with different combinations so we have a large database of files to pull info and build off of for each one of our customers. This allows us to provide SAFE proven tunes to our customers all around the World. Some people base merit on how much power they make or how fast they run, but you'll also read a lot of posts where people scattered their stock motor. You won't read that about us or any of our customers!
