New Boss Owner- Slight Confusion on Track Key

Hey guys,

So my 13' Boss comes with the red track key, but it has not been tuned yet.

1) Did all bosses come with a physical red track key or did it have to be purchased separately?
2) Where can i purchase the software or certificate?
3) Anything else i need to know?

1) They all came with a red key (nothing special about the key, it's just red).
2) You can't. The program has been discontinued. You may get very lucky and find a dealer that still has an unsold voucher, or an individual that will part with their unused voucher. There are several people that I know of looking, and they haven't been able to find one.
3) If you manage to get a voucher you will have to pull the PCM and send it to Ford Performance to be flashed. Dealers can no longer do the install.

They are out there. Most dealer that had them don't even know they still have them. Call dealers that had sold a few Bosses, and when you talk to the parts dept, just give them a part number for the voucher. If you ask about a TK most parts counter people have no idea what you're talking about.

Ford Racing is still willing to program the car, the problem is purchasing the Voucher. They were discontinued last year I believe.

I just got mine from summit racing it's ford racing M-9603-MBTKA with air filter pcm flash and voucher new program having mine done next week

The original price of the track key tune was $302. It did not include the K&N filter though. Some of us negotiated it into our purchase price before buying the car new.

Ford racing discontinued the M1402-MBTKA it cost 350.00 the new program M-9603MBTKA its 599.00 comes with voucher pcm programmer and air cleaner look it up at summit racing the dealer will program your key and install this program
