I wanted to try the new MPSS replacements coming out but don't think the 295 35 20 will be offered. Any others looking at this? I think March is scheduled for release in the US.

I'm definitely interested in Michelin's new Pilot Sport 4 S, but my MPSS remain in great condition, so it'll be a while before I take the plunge.

Interested in these as well. May try the Sport Cup 2 if not.

I need tires now. I have been putting off getting new ones to wait for the PS4s. Wondering if they are worth the wait or just hype.

No need to wait, you can order them now on tire rack. I just posted a link to this in the Shelby gt500 forum.

Is there such a tire that is good for track and the street?

ToyoR888. 285/35r20 for stock wheels, or 315/30's for those who run wider wheels, have their stock wheels widened, and car lowered. (Shorter profile)

What do you mean that fit the mustang? The 285/35 r20 seem to be available for purchase.

According to live chat on Michelin website 265/40/R19 (Mercedes) & 285/35R20 (Ferrari) are not scheduled to be released until April, these are the stock GT500 tire sizes.
Unless I wanted to run 265/35/R19 & 295/35/R20 (slightly different than GT500 stock size)... Anyone see a disadvantage or issue with running this option?

265/35 front is going to be a really short sidewall. Not much rim protection and you are going to have a significant rake with the rears you are considering.

Just spoke with tire rack and there has been no testing on this tire to date! And they will not be be discounting the SS tire as they told me but anything could happen!

Would the New S4 tire ina 305/30/20 and a 275/35/20 look weird mounted on Shelby Venice wheels and stock suspension? Or should I go with 295/35/20 and a 275/35/20 pilot SS tire? Need some advice before making my tire purchase! Thanks...

I've always loved Michelins as a road tire.
How wide are the Venice wheels? I'm assuming 10" rears? 275/35 front definitely but I like sidewall on the rears and assume the don't have a 305/35/20, so the wide 295/35 would be my recommendation.
I love my 275/35 and 315/35 combo but have 11" rears.

The Venice wheels are 9.5 in the front and 10.5 In the rear. So you would go with the older SS tire with a 295/35/20 for the rear and pass on the newer tire in a 305/30/20 for the rear? I'm going with a 275/35/20 for the front. Thanks!

Just read your other thread and the low miles. If you're more into straight line traction when you take it out to enjoy, like roll on power, go with the 305/35/20 Nitto NT555Rs. If some fast turns, go 315/30/20 Toyo R888s as you have a 10.5" rear. Good luck.
