Just wondering what the 15+ stock halfshaft record is for 60'? thinking my 15 A6 might have it or be close to it....cut a 1.37 on my new PB run yesterday.... stock halfshafts with just the support bars and bushing kit.

The shock load of manuals is what snaps those shafts. With autos there is no shock just load ...therefore they dont usually break. That being said I upgraded my auto car with ford racing shafts anyway for insurance and future proofing!!!

I see a tree!
A manual with bias ply slicks is less likey to break then an auto with radial type slicks. For the new chassis so far more autos have broken axles with radials then manuals with slicks
