Big power build. Guess what it will make.

IAT's we're going over 200 at 5500rpm so I put a larger 12 gallon trunk tank in with a rule 3700 pump. I'm going to use the left over 20v boost a pump on the rule and see if that can keep it cool. I have a Stewart EMP that I might run up front if needed. Also running 1" lines. I should have all that done next week then back on the dyno hopefully. Always something...

Keeping that skillet fryer cool ain't easy! Although imo more efficient than KB "water cooled" all day. Not a summer friendly blower so hopefully you can enjoy it before hand. The few races I got in before mine went falls on its face after a few pulls in the heat. You'll get it going- not trying to be negative Nancy here but it's just a ungodly amount of supporting mods to get it in the efficient range which your finding out.

I'd run the Stewart pump on its own. They're much better than the Rule pumps IMO, as far as longevity goes. The Rule pump should be plenty though. Are you running the factory intercooler water block? That's a big restriction. I had my intercooler machined out to take 1" fittings and have a billet block with 1" fittings on it, and 1" fittings for the heat exchanger. Going to be running 1" line all the way from the trunk to the intercooler and back.

Granted you're moving a lot more air but those temps seem really high. With the Hellion kit on small 60-1's through the stock blower and an all stock intercooler system besides a C&R heat exchanger and 3x reservoir, we saw IAT's of 130-140 on back to back dyno pulls at 26 pounds total boost making 850 wheel. Temps were well over 200* at the MAF. This was in October with 75-80* ambient temps.

Who did the intercooler mods for you? I have the KB core but didn't have time to send it to have the 1" mod done. I'm trying to fab up the billet water block to work but it's been more complicated than I thought with the belt in the way. Now I wish I had just sent the core out to be modded to begin with. I've had good luck with the rule 3700 pump on another car with 1" lines. More then likely I'll put the Stewart pump up front and use the rule pump as a pusher pump to the Stewart

Guy named Justin Wheeler. Not sure if he's on here, I found him on Facebook. He makes another block for blower cars that clears the belts. I think Shelby Mike might make one too, or maybe he just makes a bare block.

Wow. Thats hot! I plan on doing a 15pct lower/3" upper on my 3.4 whipple. So far i have a 3.75 upper/15pct and at 17-18psi i havent seen over 112deg with my HE setup on a 3rd gear pull. I bet its gonna really climb.

This is an example of why these cars are better left in the 7-800 range. Cracking 1000whp brings a laundry list of issues. Hopefully you get it all figured out OP. Was funny reading through and seeing the updates on when it was getting tuned, "Not today, definitely tomorrow" "Today this went wrong, probably tomorrow". Now its April. Is it really worth it? My guess is, the thing would be easier to finish up with turbos on it.

Sorry I was on our honeymoon in Jamaica and want to worried about getting the car tuned. Yes when trying to make big power there's a laundry list of problems that you'll have to deal with and work thru. The new tank setup seem to be working well so I'm going to see if it's possible to just take the car up to Lund and drop it off to have him get it dialed in now.

Trying to make 1000hp in anything brings all kinds of issues to the surface. There's a lot more to contend with than just bolting together the "right" parts.

Somewhat of an update. Put it on the dyno last night and made a few pulls. AFR was getting pretty high and it was breaking up so we never got to do a full pull. So far it's made

Can't get the picture to post. It made 1166@5700rpm so far but it looks like the motor will be coming back out. After the last pull we did last night we let the car cool down and noticed steam coming from the intake. Pulled dipstick and theres coolant in the oil. Seems I can't catch a break.

MPR did the work but we won't know what happened until it's tore down. It could of been tune related and the first pull after break in it made like 34-36psi so I had to change the 3.25 pulley out to a 3.75 to lower boost. There's coolant in the oil only. I'm gonna do some changes while it's out I think. Really wish I atleast got to see what it would of made at 7800 instead of 5700 lol.
