October last year I managed to go 9.50s pretty consistent then I broke a rod. Punched 3 holes in the stock block and decided some major upgrades were due. I'll try to document the Build as I go. Parts are starting to come together pretty quick now.

Carnage from the broken rod

New 4.0 LC kenne bell replacing the 3.4 whipple.

New motor finally showed up. I went with a 2012 5.4 block sleeved by darton to a 3.7 bore. Will push me over the 5.8L displacement.

Cams are here too. I ported heads while they were off. I had to replace a valve so I decided to work them over completely.

Motor is fixing to head to Schexnayder racing to get cams degreed. I'll post some pics as it goes together. I replaced all timing components with best I could get. This thing is going to scream.

Man that thing is going to be a monster! What rods did you go with? Any more pics of the fuel system? I just ordered my Fore triple pump return fuel system last Friday and will be doing the install soon. Work looks great man!

I hope to test them hard but not find their limit. I'm a 6r80 car. Going to be the limitation of my power level. Shortblock was built for 2000 hp. I'm shooting for 1200-1300 rwhp with the set up on e85.

Looks like a nasty build OP, I'm sure it will easily be 1000+whp, are you going auto or staying 6 speed?

I'm a auto swapped 6r80 car. I had a Triangle speed shop set up using a 5.0 computer and some ingenuity on their end. This time I'm going back to the gt500 pcm with a quick 6 from bauman as a stand alone unit.

Nice build ! Im hoping to order my Quick6 soon. Been hearing good things about it. The starting in Second gear option should be a very nice deal for big HP cars or shity conditions aka street. Lol .

Very true. Some great ideas built in for big power guys.
It'll be a hard debate when I start my turbo built 5.2 based Coyote for True Street.
SFI cased T400 vs Quick6 6R....

I ordered my quick 6 yesterday. Should ship to me by Friday he said. I was told that at my power level I'll have to communicate with their engineer to get tune down for transmission. Luckily my tuner is a trans specialist as well.

Looking good, that's a big step to getting her back on the road.
Did you do head porting? What the engine mods to put the 6R to the test?
Quick 6 should help control that beast.
Good luck.

Yes. Heads are ported. Engine is built for 2000 hp. 6r80 is built as well but I know it's time of survival is limited if I go above 1200 rwhp. I have a 4.0 liquid cooled KB. I got a little better deal on the renegade class blower. Most people purchase 4.2.
