In regards to your question about relocating yur coil packs to the firewall, I have a couple of questions. Since you're going max effort on b-heads with high compression I'm going to assume the intake will not be left untouched. Will you be modifying the stocker to a short runner? If so how short will the runners be? If taking off more than 2" then you'll have to have the intake floor raised. If so, you'll have room under the intake to mount the coil packs for a cleaner look...just a thought.

Taking just 2" out.

I'm not sure if I'd want them to heat soak in that spot, however.

I'm still thinking about where I'm going to mount them, and I can't help but to think the best spot would be where my AC dryer was, and under the hydroboost on the other side.

I'd put them in the fenderwell, but I want them to be serviceable.

And dropped the new front bumper, hood, and wingless trunk lid to be painted yesterday.

Photobucket only allows third party hosting with a paid account now. Switch to another host, like Imgur. I'm anxious to see pictures.
