Is there any way to tell if I have aftermarket springs on my car without disassembly?

Bought the car used, not sure what's was done or what brands were used for any aftermarket stuff.

Just wondering if there is a way to tell without any apparent logos or disassembly, reason being I just put lowering springs on my SVTF and it sits low, now I want my cobra to do the same, but I dont want to go buy springs if what's on there is already lowered, I just can't tell.

measuring the distance between the fender and tire might tell you. If you can fit your fist between the two, you likely still have stock springs.

He's not kidding either. Stock springs for our cars give them a Subaru XV fender gap and ride height.

I learned something new today, the Eibachs I had were red, did not even know they made black ones. Good to know

Sportlines are red Pro-Kit is usually black as are the FRPP "B" springs (pretty much the same as pro-kit). Although I bought two rear pro-kit springs separately (coilover front) and they where dark grey metallic. See if you can get some good pics. You can usually tell by if they're linear or progressive, coil spacing, etc if they are stock or aftermarket.
