Gen2r with water cooling. Enkie's are superlight pf01s 18x9.5 in the front with 18x10.5 in the rear with a custom made offset you can order through cotex racing. Rear tires are 315/40

Good looking build. When are you hoping to get it completed? How much power are you looking for?

Very Nice! Good to see a fellow Gt500 owner with YZ posters up on the wall! Was there any thought about ceramic coating the headers?

Very cool to see somebody drop the engine in from the TOP!
I have read where TONS of people say it needs to come out the bottom, but I could never see why?
It also looks like you have a lift available... Any reason you chose going in the top vs. dropping out the bottom?

I pulled mine out the top also. My reason was I did it at home in my garage with nothing but jack/ jack stands and cherry picker. I didn't have use of a two post hoist and also I didn't want to have to get the car aligned afterwards. I also left the transmission in place and let it rest on the crossmember in the mean time and it all went back together surprisingly easy.

Well im glad you brought this up. The longtubes i had installed on my stock engine were OBX 1 7/8 long tubes. They have a thicker flange that makes the engine with the headers bolted to it 1/8 wider then the frame rails. I could of tried a k member drop and dropping it on an angle. But after staring at it for 5 minutes i decided to pull the tranny on the lift and pull the motor out the top. I already had the hood and bumper off. With the tranny off the motor comes out super easy. With the tranny on, Out the top would of been interesting.
