I went down this road a few years ago. The only one that truly matches the lines & shape of the car, the Shelby SS hood hands down.
On these the problem isn't fitting, its finish. They sell them as "prep needed" and that's what they mean. They need prep, sanding before paint ready.
I'm glad I did it. Would do again if I built another Shelby. And I'm trying to work a deal on one now!
Yes, that is what I am finding out. In some cases when people say the dont fit well they are really talking about all the prep work that needs to be completed before paint.

Well I saw the Shelby SS hood on a car last weekend and IMO it looked terrible. The paint finish was spot on but the reveals to the fenders and grill were awful. I would have never painted it if that was all the better it fit. I really couldn't see how it could be adjusted either without causing alignment issues elsewhere. I do think the reveals could have been clean up prior to paint but the flip side is he would have ended up with abnormally large gaps to the fenders. He is into the hood about $3300 and it looks terrible but IMO it;s his fault for moving forward with a hood that wasn't fitting correctly.

FYI KB3.2 is a bored 2.8 case and makes as much power as the 3.6 up til 22-23psi and fits under the stock hood.
Just an FYI for those talking about fitment.
I'm partial to the S1000 and would do that is I'd go big screw.

Also, I just painted the upper half of the front splitter (stock piece on '10-12s, then we have the added lower pieces). That small change plus the Roush side and rear skirts makes a great visual impact.
Professional pics coming after splitter is striped and car is detailed, can't wait.
