I have a new fan new thermostat new water pump 3 row radiator new 50 50 antifreeze no leaks.....Driving home right now it's 99° and with ac on my 96 cobra started over heating so I had to roll windows down and turn off ac to get back to normal temperature.......it's only going to get hotter out here in Sacramento so what can I do to get the cobra running nice and cool??

Maybe try a 70/30 mix of distilled water to coolant. If your '96 doesn't have the cooling upgrade, you might want to pull the plastic covers from on top of the headlights and the honeycomb grille. Beyond that, the upgrade A/C condenser has fewer fins per inch and should help it run a little cooler. You could also install a manual fan switch, but I'm not sure how popular that mod is nowadays.

Upgrading the A/C condenser is just as important as the radiator when upgrading the cooling on a 96. If you still have the stock 96 piece, that's a big part of your problem. Also, if you're running an under drive pulley on the water pump, that's not helping your cooling either.

Agreed is the cooling recall was never done then you need to get a condenser for a 97

Water wetter and water. water dissipates heat better than coolant.

This unique additive reduces coolant temperatures by as much as 20 degrees F. It can be used in plain water to provide much better heat transfer properties and protection than glycol-based antifreeze, or added to new or used antifreeze to fortify inhibitors and reduce foaming.

Jack the front of the car up, now the crossover tube is nice and high, undo the screw plug thing and let it run for a while. all the air bubbles should rise to the top.
