Must be a southwestern phenomenon...most of the challengers/chargers I see in this region (mid-atlantic) are driven by men. I do see a plethora of women driving the rental quality v6 Mustangs though. OP given the area you were driving through are you certain they were not men? I mean it is tough to tell the difference in those parts between the two.

Those aren't men, they're women with shaved heads or are transitioning

I just got back from an almost 3k mile trip with my 04. Tx, OK, KS and MO. Saw a pant load of Challengers and Chargers ... ALL but one driven by women. I think it is Def. a womans car.

Says the guy with a rainbow Mustang...

But seriously, I'd rock a Scat Pack/Hellcat Charger/Challenger all day!

surely this is a joke. I see more women and teenage girls in v6 mustangs than anything.

wasnt the original 1964-1/2 mustang designed to be a woman's "secretary car?" LOL

Gender and vehicles registered

I was thinking about the registering thing but you can't really distinguish when a guy buys a car for his wife or daughter so that information could be inaccurate.
