1. Ordered new springs, shocks, struts, gt500 mounts, panhard bar and caster\camber plates this week. Should sit pretty nice once done.

Finally got the hood painted and put on the car...
Had to go into the office today for a little bit, decided to break out the Moosestang, and snapped a couple quick shots.
Then walking away towards my office, saw this and my heart sank for whomever owns this car.
There was no note, and it had clearly just happened since all the debris was right there. I've seen this car around Lenox Hill a lot, and I feel so bad for the owner. There's no worse feeling. Definitely my biggest fear owning a car in NYC.

I was talking to someone about this the other day. I will NEVER live in the city but if I did, I certainly wouldn't even bother to own a nice car. I've seen how people treat other peoples cars in the city and it's disgusting.
Mine is a garage queen. She spends never more than a couple hours on the street, otherwise she's in my garage or at least a parking garage. Even parallel parking for an hour or two scares me from bumper rash, or bicyclists, etc.
That's why I own a $20k car instead of something worth like five times as much here. Not that I can't afford more, but First, it's a toy. Second, city ownership here is tough on cars, and I'm so OCD about my cars, that the parking bills add up fast, to avoid this exact situation.
My boss owns an F430 and Aston DB9 in the city, and his F430 has a fair share of kiss marks from parallel parking and it breaks my heart.
