Anyone have these tires on their car? Looking for input from people pushing a good amount of power through rear wheels (550+rwhp).

I currently have standard Pirelli PZero tires (i know they are shit, just like the ones in my '13 5.0).

This is for the Viper, I might go on 19" Front and 20" Rear again but with forgeline wheels, and depending on your guys' input use MP4S tires. I dont want R888 or R888R, the car will not see the track with 19/20 setup!!!

i have mpss and putting down 568rwhp and couldnt be happier with these tires. ive also taken them on track a few times and have been blown away with our well they grip. so i can only imagine the 4s are even better.

on the street, i dont think you'll find a better tire that will last as long.

^ I agree, I had the MPSS on the mustang. What a difference compared to the shitty pirelli tires. This was a wider setup that had less road noise and wasnt as stiff compared to the pirelli. I dont even look at pirelli tires, LOL. If im looking for a sometimes street mostly track tire it would be the Cup 2's. For track only it would be hoosier slicks.

I'm currently running them on my CTSV and love them. They handle the power well, ride good, good turn in, quiet, however they have not seen much rain so I cannot comment on that. I would not hesitate to buy. Great tire.

I doubt OP is worried about how well the do in the rain, since I don't think he would drive his viper in the rain, and it doesn't rain much in California.

Sorry OP, I don't have any first hand experience with the tires in question. Good luck.

R888 FTW I street drive mine and love them. @paintless302 ran R888s and loved them on his viper as well
I track these cars so I cant be on a drag radial, I will be going full R888 toyos all around when these Corsas have had it. I love the R888s on my last car, absolutely best performance tire I've ever put on a car. May even look into the new R888R

Yes, just bought them to replace my NT05r that wore out in 3500 miles!!!

Excellent tire for the money, way more controlled than the nitto AND the grip is better IMO for most of my street driving. My car is pushing right near 700RWHP now.

A friend has them on his 911, great tire for daily warm dry/wet conditions, but definitely not an extreme performance tire like a bridgestone re-71r or bfg rival S that would sacrifice some hydroplane resistance, cool weather grip, nvh, etc.

I have a little over 3,000 miles on mine and they are just as good as advertised. Excellent wet/dry traction and slightly better than the MPSS which I thought was impossible. My stock PZeros spun at 50mph and these hook up at 40mph but I make 707hp. There isn't a "street" tire out there that will dead hook but the PS 4S is as close as it gets

With that said, my next set will be R888Rs. I wanna hook up under 40mph

So, you want recommendations for a great performance street tire at on a RWD car at your power level but not interested in the 888....

threads about MP4S tires and people's experience with them since they are a new tire.
What's your experience with them?

The plan's to get two sets of wheels.
Street set up will be 19/20 on MP4S tires. I want a nice street tire since I'm going with larger wheels.
Track 18/19 on Hoosier slicks.
