What does everyone have their WOT box set at for the no lift shift timing?

I ask because when my car goes to return timing on the release it hits really hard and it makes me worry that I'm going to break something. Everyone's videos I see of the no lift shift it is smooth and mine is very violent. I know it's set up properly because I'm running the newest software and it was computer set.

I have mine set to 175. I think I started at 300ms and kept dialing it down trial and error until it felt the best. It depends on the user and their shift techniques. So start at 300ms and keep going down until you find out what works best for you.

But that would shorten the time for the cut which would only amplify my problem.

The issue I'm having is that it doesn't ramp the timing up like everyone else's. Mine is very on/off switch like, it snaps back in so hard that it makes the whole car shutter. I've tried increasing the time and shortening it and it's always the same result.

Take a pic of your settings page and post it. Sounds like you have something selected that you shouldn't. My guess is your TPS Threshold is set to low

I have the tps threshold set to be at 4.56 maxed foot to the floor is 4.65. Contacted NP performance and all he told me is everything is where it's supposed to be and that if I don't feel comfortable with how hard the power comes back then I should just turn the WOT off. That completely wastes $170 then.

Hmm that is interesting. I'm thinking it was fine before your install. Did you triple check the wires you tapped it into? Many of people have installed the WOt box including myself and have not had an issue that you describe. I absolutely love the no lift shift feature. The launch feature not so fond of.

Yeah all wires that are tapped into are correct. Only one I can think of is the clutch wire. There is two wires the upper and lower. I couldn't find anywhere that said which one of the two to use but I believe I tapped the top wire and all the systems check out just fine. Which wire is the one you tapped. The top or bottom wire?

Okay now I've tried to look around everywhere and no one seems to know what I mean. The two wires that connect to the clutch are the starter ignition switch and the cruise control switch. The instructions for installing the WOT box said the wire that faces the outside of the car. My wires with vertical so I just tapped the upper wire. Is that the correct wire or is it the lower wire? I've gotten no response back from the customer support through NP performance.

I'm away from my car for awhile if not I would go look. I do remember there being two green wires for the clutch. I just don't remember which one to tap or if it even matters

The customer service guy in the email said it did matter but couldn't tell me which wire it was. I guess they both perform the same function but one can mess up cut timing.
