This just in guys, you don't need to freshen race engines. The bearings are no different than stock Honda's. Stainless rings, bronze valve guides, after market retainers all don't wear any faster than factory now. Massive amounts of cylinder pressure don't make engines wear any faster. Really glad you don't need cams to make 1500rwhp, bet you'll just toss in some 98 Cobra cams dot to dot and slap down a low 8 right? Good to know. I've been dumb all this time.

Also, T-56's can now support 1500rwhp and run low 8's with only 26 spline input shafts.

Staging pumps, so you plan to use a stock tank with an aftermarket hat. Good luck.

What's the suspension on this? How's that spool and slicks/radials doing in inclement weather?

I get "owned" by a guy who can't form a sentence, runs around in circles, has never made power or run a time.

You are a FORUM warrior. You read some stuff online and you repeat it. AGAIN, I do not run low 8's. I will meet you at any event next year and you name the pot (min that it covers me getting there). I can show you embarrassing.

I never said you dont need to freshen up engines,i never said hondas used the same bearings, never said anything about using stock cams either.
And if your ignorant self didnt know, steel rings, bronze guides and Titanium retainers are alot stronger than factory and will outlast any stock part. They dont "wear" faster.RPMs will wear an engine faster than the power it makes, and you dont 1500rwhp to do it.Do you even know how engines are affected by HCPs??

You assume too much.Don't assume, thats why you're looking like a donkey right now.
A "race" engine that needs constant teardowns consist of parts like aluminum rods and copper/o ring HG,they are dry decked. These are also cars making 2000+hp
Am i running any of that in mine? I don't think so.So stop talking out your back hole like you know anything.THIS IS A STREET CAR.
Only a 26 spline IS? Oh man,i bet that is why you kept breaking those T56's.
You don't have to have pumps in a tank to have them staged, nor do you know what my built Magnum consists of.Again, you keep assuming.
You don't need a spool to run 8's,and i guess your the only idiot that drives with slicks in "inclement" weather.
And there goes the grammar comments, that how i know you're mad. What are you gonna do? Fail me? LOL
It's clear that you've never built an engine for a high HP car before,so stop talking like you do.You're just like women, have somebody worry about how the cars built, now you just worry about driving and pumping gas.
By the way, your car is making 1000hp+ so might need to worry less about me and more about freshening up your engine since its probably all worn out from those "high cylinder pressures". LULZ
Yea,apparantly you HAVE been dumb this whole time.

Answer me this, and if you answer right you might not look as dumb.
I have a 600rwhp car,and another one making 1400rwhp.
Both engines are fully forged, built to hold more power than they are making.
If i were to drive any of these normally everyday to work, which one would break down first and why?
Just like when you've had a bad experience with precision turbos, you claim they're no good yet 90% of the guys are doing just fine with them at the track or street. You broke your manuals now you think they're no good.
You talk on opinions not facts.
You don't need to embarrass yourself at the track, you're doing a good job here.

LMFAO where is the popcorn emoji? This is a fun read

Yea its pretty hilarious when someone thinks i won't even make it to work in car with a built motor/ billet internals and a built magnum under the hood..
Its these kind of guys that make me want to sell my R6,Coyote and Wrangler just to finish up my cobra and see the look on their faces...

When you say bronze guides and titanium retainers don't wear faster, everyone who has ever built an engine just rolled their eyes and stopped listening to you.

You have yet to say what you have done for your T-56 or Magnum to last at 1500 but just tried to insult me.

The term "fully forged" shows how much of an internet forum troll you are. A 600hp engine will not have anywhere near the same setup as 1500rwhp setup. Just because something is "forged" or "billet" does not make it indestructible.

Lastly, the 1500 hp setup will wear fast first. Regardless of how much you turn it down you are still going to beat on it once in a while and wear it faster.

My engine is refreshed every 200 passes or 150 if I street drive it more.

Oh really? Haha Well you had no reason to roll your eyes did you? And i didn't know people could listen to what someone types. You just get funnier don't you. But its true, the only way a bronze guide would wear faster would be because of bad or lose clearances or matching it with the wrong material/ finish on a valve stem. When bronze guides first came, yea they wore out faster, but ever since high nickel bronze guides started, there hasn't been problems, its just hearsay.People still think they "wear faster" like 30 years ago.You just have to match the right stem finish/coating to the right material of guide and they should wear normally if not better than stock. And titanium retainers? Common guy, were not building engines like 20 years ago, titanium retainers aren't needed for 1500rwhp.Thats why they have tool steel retainers.Apparantly you need more experience building engines.
EVEN if that were to be the case, theres plenty of people making power around that range with stock guides and retainers,so they arent needed. With the materials and coatings that valves are built with these days, stock parts do just fine.Properly set up,everything should wear out normal.

Yes i have yet to say,but even a stock magnum can handle that power,so you can imagine a "built" one.

Yes its full done forged, crank rods pistons are all forged.Because you use different terminology is irrelevant to me.Nobody said it was indestructible.
Oh really? What would be the differences then Sir Builds Alot?

But lets forget all the mechanical stuff, your lack of engine building experience makes it nearly impossible to have a valid argument with you.
But just to get you back on track
Can you do mid 8s with a manual? Yes
Be a street car? Yes
Are you mad? Yes
The power a car makes or what it runs in a 1/4 doesn't define the use for a car.
If my car can haul the mail in the 1/4 while retaining all the comforts of the normal vehicle like lights, power windows,PS,AC,AND be able to take you around town without a problem, that is a street car.Nick is on an IRS bro, how much more mentally challenged can you be.LOL
Many people have done it,yet you refuse to accept reality. You chose to live under a rock.

So guys, according to mr know it all over here,we can't have an 1500hp 8 second manual car and be able to drive it on the street.
So whoever is currently building a cobra out there please beware that these things will cause member Nightmare to require a tampon change.
-Manual Turbo cars
-Pecision Turbos in a turbo car
-Driving an 8 second car around town or to work
-Making it back home in an 8 second car from work
-Any turbo build that does not include an Auto transmission or Borg Warner Turbo.

I'll step away now (Feels like im arguing with a 12 year old and her little sister)
I appreciate the effort though.
And thanks for the luck guys,it's never been done before so im going to need all the luck i can get...

LOL

Bronze guides wear faster. Call ANY single shop. Mike in Wichita, Tim at MPR, Livernois, L&M, BES I can keep going. Bronze wears much faster than a PM guide.

I also run PM guides in my GT heads but thanks for attempting to educate me.

Titanium retainers also are much more prone to wear and must be replaced much more often but you decided to avoid that one.

Everyone can see through your bs right now. Anyone who says "fully forged" has no idea how to build an engine.

What rods? What pistons? They better be custom pistons for 1500. What's wrist pin material and wall thickness? What's the top down on the piston to the first ring? What's the skirt thickness and overall weight? What rings do you run? What's your clearances? What block are you going to use? What head gaskets? What turbos?

I can make this really embarrassing.

What cams/heads/intake will make 1500 for you? What are YOU running?

A stock magnum will not take 1500rwhp. Pure and simple.

My car can street drive, but it's not a drive to work 3 times out of the week driver. If you want a leg the size your ego then fine drive a manual trans car to work all the time. At least you'll get some weight reduction with your wallet as you fix stuff that breaks.

Your desire to instantly attempt to insult me shows you are losing this discussion and therefore lash out.

Again, for the last and final time. Get in your built car, pick a track, put your money where your keyboard is and I can show you what 8 seconds is. Since you've clearly never seen or been near it. Now is the time to either put up, or shutup and formally apologize for misinformation.

Also, the irony of saying I hate manuals when I ran 6 different turbo cars with manual trans. I just find it funny when someone like you who has no clue what's hes talking about "brags" about a stick shift like it makes him more of a man. If you build a racecar and use all high end parts why intentionally make it slower? The reality is most people who want stick shifts in racecars would be much happier with a 600-800rwhp cruiser with a stick. Not a "1500rwhp" stick shift that will lose to cars with half the power especially since yours is about as fake as your wifes orgasms.

PS Shortridge makes 1400-1500 and hasn't hit low 8's. Food for thought while you keep running your mouth with no basis in reality. You'd also know he killed this trans at NMRA (since they don't break) and his twin disk and is now into custom triple disk clutches that cost more than most people's th400 swaps.

But I'm sure you know all about this stuff.
