My biggest issue with the gen 5 ZL1 is the weight... that’s 4K lb car. I’m sure modded it moves ok, but stock my stock Boss 302 can hang. With all that power... it’s a tank imo. But I think most cars are way to heavy now days.

It is cruel to keep stringing her along, if you hate her enough to put her in a Camaro, just get a divorce.

I see a lot of silly responses. Mostly guys that have had no REAL experience with a 5th gen camaro, much less a 700 RWHP, magneride suspension monster.

Take my completely unbiased opinion, from a current 14' Shelby owner and a previous 5th gen camaro owner. 5th gens are great cars. You will find mostly soccer moms and millennials complaining about "visibility". Lol. It really is a non-issue. Like everything else, you learn it and adapt to it.

At 700rwhp, she will literally have no issues whooping 98% of vehicles on the road. The other 2% will likely be dedicated gear heads with modded cars or exotic owners.

Even owning the baddest highway monster Ford has offered to date, I still miss my 5th gen camaro very much.

I think the 5th gen ZL1 is an underappreciated car that GM over promised and under delivered on. I'd personally be looking for something more stock, but if the price is right, then get it.

Camaro= Perfect car for a girl.

Agreed

Has your wife sat in and driven a 5th gen? She may change her mind if she's claustrophobic...or if she's under 5'6" tall.

Not sure what talking about

Exactly, I have zero visibility issues. Hell, even stock.. still would whoop 75% of cars on the road lol

Awesome car, my girl daily drives a 675 rwhp 2015 GT, if she can handle it, go for it. Always nice to have someone right there to do car stuff with

So much for xmas present, about 21 days early! I would have let it marinate giving her hints here and there and then disappointing her on xmas day only to be like, "look outside".
