Meth injection + 10% od + 2.4 pulley

Im going to run 2.4 pulley on my vmp gen 2r blower along with 10% OD and alky meth injection kit. Can anyone say if it is doable? I would really appreciate your comments and suggestions.
The full list of mods is here:

  1. 123 mm JLT CAI
  2. ID1000
  3. VMP GEN 2R supercharger
  4. 2.4 pulley
  5. Metco aux
  6. Kenne bell boost a pump
  7. No cats
  8. Kincaid killer chiller
  9. 93 pump gas
  10. Alky meth-water injection
  11. Whipple bigbore 170 mm monoblade throttle body
  12. AFCO 2 fan heat exchanger
  13. 10% OD

I heard that 2.4 and 10% od is not a safe way to go.. I just wonder if meth will help

First, find out what your blower redline rpm is. Then given the diameters of the pullies, calculate the blower rpm at engine redline rpm. I assume this is your concern??

This is one of them. I read several threads on this forum where people say that 10% od and 2.4 pulley should not be used along with 93 pump gas. However, I havent found any info on what if meth injection is added to this combo.. Will it keep me safe or is race gas the only way to go?

It depends on how much boost you make whether 93 octane will cut it. Methanol is a huge shot of octane, but good luck finding a tuner that will help you.

I run a 10% lower with a 2.4 upper on my VMP Gen II since I’ve owned it and had no problems with 93 octane. A little over 21 pounds of boost and I’ve done it wit 72 pound injectors and stock pump. Still running the same combo today with no issues.

Can you? Probably. It's extremely aggressive on 93 and using water/meth as octane booster. Water/meth is a good as a supplemental knock inhibitor. It's not octane.

hmmmm.... Well then please explain this quote directly from Snow's website >> "Increase Pump Gas Octane by 25 Effective Points"

Are you not a vendor for them? I'm not sure because I am not your customer, nor a fan of Snow. Please elaborate....

On a side note, there is so much more to methanol than a "supplemental" fuel. Maybe you should research running pure methanol. I do, and so do many, many others from other realms.

I am giving you my opinion. I am not a vendor for them. I no longer work at VMP.

I have personally used straight M-1 for cooling purposes, to supplement fuel and decrease injector pulsewidth then used on my EcoBoost Mustang, etc.

Not arguing with you, simply my input. Take it at that.
