I am getting ready to replace my stock. Hood...I have narrowed it down to the Black Mamba or Cervinis Ram Air hood...Any thoughts or opinions? I am personally leaning toward the Cervinis Ram Air...I saw one in person and it looked great...

I have the black Mamba on my 12 and it looks great. Can't tell you much about prep and install due to the fact the hood was already on the car when I bought it. However, 3k painted and installed seems to be about where you'll be from what I've read, unless you're painting it yourself. Not a cheap mod.

If you don't want to worry about blocking off, go with the Super Snake hood from SA. But I have also heard their hood takes a lot of working with to fit right.

I’m with the don’t do it at all vote. Stock hood looks good and for the price among fitnent issues there are better mods available.

I ordered a GT 500 Type 4 Ram Air hood for my 13 Shelby from Cervinis. Pics below are from their website on the Shelby. I have a Cervinis C- Series hood on my 07 GT pictured below and I have no issues with fitment, breaking, cracking etc. over the last 8 years of it being on my car. Will post up some pics during installation.

Looks great...I just ordered the Type 4 Ram Air hood. They said it will be here in 4-6 weeks.

Painted or unpainted ? Originally they said a month, then received an email with delivery this week ! I ordered mine unpainted so delivery was quicker I believe
I ordered it painted...both sides... Its black and they said their black was a dead match...I hope so.
