I’m not sure what happens now. Do we stone him? Or maybe cover his home in sheeps blood?

Both cars are beautiful we can agree on that. The 05-06 FGT looks raw & muscular and the new FGT looks exotic and sleek. But I'd rather hear @DBK 's opinion on this matter!
They are both great looking cars, and I love them both, but I think the new car is much more dynamic aesthetically. The 05/06 is a great looking homage to the original with one of the few truly timeless automotive shapes. There are some odds and ends that are finally starting to look dated, but honestly, with a new set of headlights and a wheel/tire setup that is more current, I really think they could sell the 05/06 as a brand new car today. It just doesn't really age. Then look at how shit a 12 year old Ferrari looks these days.
The 17 car however is from another planet. Like, my brain still melts looking at them every day that this thing is real and they managed such an innovative way to make a new car that still had so much GT40 DNA. It's also a much more imposing car because it's longer, lower, wider.
This thing is just ****ing bananas to me.

Bugh, who invited this DBK-hole to the thread?
Eh, faux pas lingo as I guess it should be SOHC 24v despite the fact it has two cams.Didn’t know the 05 S197 had a DOHC 24V engine.
...
As for FGT talk, the New and old are on different planets from different universes. One is Americana, the other is probably one of the best styled and valued modern HyperCars on the market. ...
I thought they used the 675LT as a benchmark, along with the 458 speciale. The new GT isn't a hypercar, though. Ford aimed "low" toward just being a supercar. It has the bones to be a hypercar, though. Just not the power. And the jury is still in deliberation as far as its actual performance is concerned. They "only" benchmarked cars like the Ferrari 458, so don't expect to be wowed too much compared to up-to-the-minute standards; 488, 675LT, etc.
Then again if you've ever heard a modern v8 mclaren at WOT they do NOT sound good. Super bland soundThe new GT isn't a hypercar, though. Ford aimed "low" toward just being a supercar. Sure its not the fastest thing anymore but its still so unique.
Depends on what FGT you are referring to because M2K's is probably one of the fastest cars around.
