Serpent said keyboard and mouse are superior. I agree 100% with this. You then said "so lets keep keyboard / mouse on PC, and controllers for console". I disagree with this.

I think people should have the right to chose to use mouse (and they do) and keyboard if it's supported. I brought why i think your opinion is wrong, you brought gifs, and salt. I dont recall saying PC players want to play with consoles. I'm not here for praise or being worthy, just stating my opinion which includes as long as it's supported, it's fine. Xim4 on xbox to my knowledge is not supported my M$.

As for bringing no merit, me stating it should be allowed if supported is proving my opinion on why i think it's worthy of being used is merit.

Question - Fortnite / Pub G / etc are all available on PC, what's the benefit of trying to bring the mouse / keyboard to PS4 other than to have an advantage? Aside from @VenomousSVT's medical condition (which btw could also be remedied with different control combinations...)

Can you first acknowledge that my post had merit since you said It didnt?

I said I want people to be able to use any thing supported. If a device support allows an advantage perceived by someone, then I am ok with it. Just like Sony is ok with it since they support K&M.

absolutely - if you'll agree that you're wanting to use the Keyboard / mouse for a distinct advantage over people using the controllers.

I'm not going to put in the effort to get better with the controller. I don't have time to play games anymore so I want something I can use that I'm used to.

I'm trying to process this response you made. You want me to admit to something i dont do for you admit in writing you were wrong.

I proved my post had merit that you called me out on. So that is settled. So no "ouch" Papaw.

You want me to say that I want an advantage over people when I do not play consoles. I cant admit to something I dont do.

For the last time, i want people (people means EVERYONE which includes but not limited to ME) to be able to use any thing supported even if someone thinks it's an advantage. It's not that hard for me to understand. For you and Papaw it is.

If it were me, I would pick up the controller and spend 2-3 hours playing it, and whatdoyaknow this 'unfamiliar' feeling goes away. But what do I know, I just did this exact thing a few months ago.

Sp explain to me, how I'm going to play call of duty using an Xbox controller when I don't have dexterity in my thumbs? How do I aim?

Im a longtime PC gamer. Current rig is an Intel I7 5820K rig with SLI GTX 980 SC's and Intel SSDs. Plays everything maxed out or near maxed out. GTA, BF4, the new Wolfenstein's, Metro 2033/Last light, DOOM, The Division etc are all games I play on PC. Competitive, fast paced type games need mouse and keyboard.

I recently bough a PS4 Pro because there are some days I come home from work that I want to fire up a game and play it laying in bed. Chillax mode if you will. Madden, Tomb Raider, Ace Combat, Assasins Creed, Need For Speed, Grand Turismo etc are all fun to play in a relaxed mood with a controller.

I grew up playing Wolf 3D, Strike Commander, original Doom, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Janes flight simulators etc so PC gaming is in my blood. Mouse and Keyboard are second nature, joystick for flight sims and Im right at home.

Having both my PC rig and PS4, if I needed a mouse and keyboard for my PS4, Id just play it on PC. Most games Ive found that Id rather play Mouse and Keyboard are on PC.

ALSO: If you haven't visited the Steam store or even Origin or blizzard's gaming portal, youre missing the PC gaming revolution. SOOOOOOO many quality titles on these stores, and a TON of indie developers with great game concepts trying to make their mark in the industry!

Then we’re all good then, and fwiw my initial comments in this thread were in jest , guys can use whatever they want to use. Hell use an N64 controller. I just don’t agree with using a mouse / keyboard FOR a tactical advantage.

so.... you expect me to aim using my thumb? are you still assuming you know the dexterity in my hands? I don't care what many people do, most people have full dexterity in their hands. So now that i'm having to spell it out that I do not have control over my thumbs to the extent of a NORMAL human, how now am I supposed to change the controls to aim a controller?

i would go as far as to say if you came to my house and attempted my convoluted bullshit of a controller you would 100% tell me how garbage it is and that you dont see how anyone could use it. But like you've mentioned i'm too lazy to do, I put in the time and got used to the terribly notchiness it has and inaccuracies it has in order to have a decent playing experience. Besides, these devices are available to use to anyone with $60 in their pocket. It costs less than a game in some situations. So if it was THAT much of an advantage wouldnt everyone use it?

Do you know what claw is? Doesn’t sound like it considering your thumb isn’t even used with certain techniques - You can aim using your right index finger to aim / control right buttons....

Left finger still aims down sights....

Buddies and I used to see who could get best k/D with this method so I know it works....

So now it seems you are perfectly fine with mouse and keyboard for consoles even though you feel it provides an advantage. I am ok with that. If you would of said in your initial post that you feel it's an unfair advantage to have K&M players playing on consoles but people shouldnt be forced to use only a controller, i would not of commented in the first place disagreeing with you.

Telling someone to move on when they dont agree with them or understand what they said is perceived at butt hurt imo. Not what i posted.

Can you explain why if i disagree, I should move on from a thread and not try to discuss it further. We came to an agreement after that post was made. We would not have done that or scene eye to eye if I did move on.

Dude you are the epitome of butthurt. It’s not up for debate.....that long winded reply about someone disagreeing with you about using a keyboard / mouse (PC accessories) on a console that comes with a controller.

thats completely alien and WAY WAY out of the way of logical thinking for some of us... so end of the day. No im not going to use claw by what you described.. I have to use a damn ergonomic mouse im sure as hell not going to distort my hand and wrist to try to aim with the side of the tip of my right pointer finger all while using the side of my finger to operate 4 buttons... nope

so call me lazy, or admit its dumb to walk around the building rather than unlock front door.
