I have a built 4r70 from FB waiting so that’ll come. I don’t cruise the car a lot now. No time. I’d rather be with my family. Cage will happen at somepoint. I’d say by the time it’s done it’ll be 90/10 race to street duty. It was cool going to a car meet with my son. That likely won’t change even with a Auto or cage. I don’t really have a time goal besides the 9s with a six speed. I’d be happy if the car was in the 9s all the time. Not really looking or wanting more power. I don’t need it. I don’t street race and dont plan on chasing a ET or MPH above 150. Just want to do it safely and I know a cage will need to happen :)

Do not put a halo bar if you are going to street drive it. You bang your head on that you’re done. Put a roll bar and call it a day :)

Yea I didn’t think about that lol. Drive around wearing a helmet hahahahaha. Or just do a lot of padding.. Yea I'm not sure what the plan is going to be on that one.

Jt maxed out at 850 rwp is correct. Unless you plan on going for more power i wouldnt change it. You are at max efficiency so im assuming its pretty damn responsive because of this. Keep the 6spd and learn how to drive it and you will run mid 9s easy if done right.

Yea it's really responsive, and make a shit ton of tq. I know that if I change the combo I'll likely drop tq but pick up HP.. I don't plan on switching anything powerwise anytime soon. Trying to learn the car that's all :D

yea low end to midrange will definitely drop some torque and unless you pick up a substantial amount of hp i wouldnt even bother. 850rwhp with a 6spd is allready pushing it.

Yea it wouldn't be until I switch to a auto that's for sure.. I figure when I switch to a auto I'm likely going to drop 60-80rwhp.. That might be the time when I upgrade to a ysi-b.. Unless something presents itself sooner which I highly doubt. Then I'd need to sell my JT-trim to fund it..

I love it! Get that 60ft time down and the mph will go up. Fast manual cars are a dying breed

I promise you there is nothing "gay" about a MVB auto or running 7's. 6 speed's impress high school chicks, autos win races.

6 speeds are fun on the street and road course but when you cross the line to racecar you aren't doing yourself any "fun" favors by keeping a manual.

I agree there is a point where a stick is plane useless and an auto is much needed. But for a street car and not a race car running 9s i would personally never do it because a properly setup car can run low 9s easy. Now running 7s and 8s yes your absolutely right!!
