I had a 2001 and I have always loved that green. I need to see it in person. The 2018 front-end redo hasn't grown on me yet. I suspect the additional dealer greed will discourage me from wanting it at all. Ford dealers are the WORST with that.

Never understood people's fascination with that Highland Green color. It's not remotely close to the same shade as the original movie car (and never has been), and it's an ugly color. If they did it in a matte finish, that would look sweet.

Well not a lot of people like the matte finish so not as popular. Everyone likes the pretty, shiny things. ;)

Saw it at the NAIAS on Wednesday. It's a good looking Mustang with a bump in power too

meh, car is ugly as ****, that shade of green sucks and the wheels ain't too hot either.

I'm not a huge fan of it but I was never much of a fan of the Bullitts. I'm more of a details person and appreciate all the extra badge crap that most of us like, ha. I can appreciate the style and see which market Ford is going for with those though.

And I'm too sold on the PP2 GT. The rims alone had me. They look like an updated version of the old FR500's.

I think this is a great take on the Bullitt, the color is perfect, good power, nice sounding exhaust and great interior. The new 18 GT,s are cool but this one is way cooler.
I would like one but I,m thinking it will be pricey, but so is everything.

I Iike the color a lot. I’ve always been a fan of Highland Green. In part because the 2nd car I owned was a ‘70 Road Runner with Ivy Green paint. Similar to Highland Green.

I’m a fan of the classic and they have to keep to the same style. If they took out the chrome and the wheels and added badging it wouldn’t be a Bullitt. I’m curious to see one in person.

I think it’s great. I love the DHG paint!

For $50k it’s over priced at $40k or 4-5k above a base gt it’s perfect!! Stripped priced for a stripped performance vehicle.

I assume Ford does this to raise money for chariety? Like they did with the NFGT.
Yes, it was all for charity - sometype of Boys program.

There was also a special edition Vette (Z06) auctioned last night signed by President Bush, can't remember the special edition name (?65) but it went for $1.4M !! All charity of course and you also got to play a round of Golf with the President included!

AS much as I want to like this car, it is not available with the (new for 2018) performance package two.

It is basically a mustang GT track pack car with a different intake, throttle body, and painted DHG.

For these reasons I’m going to hold off and see what February 8 brings us in Chicago with the GT500.

That's great the car manufacturers give back like this. It's certainly good publicity for them but they don't have to do it.
