I am shopping for a terminator and do not like the looks of the light bar installed on a lot of these cars. I noticed some you have to drill holes and some not. How hard are these to remove? Once removed how hard is it to return to stock with the interior plastics and such?

Thanks again!!!

I know this thread has been sitting a while - but can you show a picture of what you are talking about? Maybe others know - but I'm actually scratching my head on what you are talking about when you mention the light bar.

I have a vert Cobra and I don't see how a styling "light" bar could be installed without drilling the interior panels. I could be wrong. Often am. Ask my wife.

Stolen pic from the innertoob-

If you weren't so far away I would trade you my untrimmed interior pieces for your parts and the styling bar. I want one, but I can't see paying what the asking price is.

I didn't care for the light bar that was on my 04 when I bought it but I decided to wait before I took it off. Now I love it. There are 4 holes drilled in the plastic that have color matching plugs that cover them. Not too noticeable but, if you want to completely replace the plastic so there are no holes after removal, that's not too terribly hard either.

Since we're on this subject, I'm hoping those of you with the light bar could chime in and tell me what your solve was for the seatbelt bracket that is attached to the seats. When the seat is back (where I need it to be comfortable) this bracket hinders further movement and actually cuts into the light bar. For now, I just removed the two outer screws so the bracket will move, allowing me to put the seat back further without losing the bracket or removing it completely. Any thoughts?

Thanks! Love the look of the bar myself...

Just take the brackets off.

Here they are! Not as expensive as I thought.

This is out of the Roush installation instructions here:

http://www.roushperformance.com/parts/Mustang-Styling-Bar-Lighted-Black-1999-2004.html

NOTE: 1999-2004 Mustang
Due to the larger size of the seat belt shoulder loop on the 1999 Mustang, modifications
to this loop is necessary or the purchase of a new loop is recommended Seat Belt retainer
bracket:
Part # (Left) – SM99-5400-LH
Part # (Right) – SM99-5400-RH

I have a pair of Corbeaus I'm putting in my 03. I plan on putting a lightbar in as well. Will I be able to put the seat all the way back like I want to without rubbing/wear/noise on the seat or bar?

The factory seats clear completely. I'm sorry but I don't know about a Corbeau.
