this one should be interesting

it has been on and off sale for years, from my info it has been owned by a used car dealer for at least a few years now in Rolla Mo. (can't find the name, but looks to be different than who is selling this time.) miles are mid/up there for a 95 r at 9600+/- was last on the bay in July of 2017 and no-saled at $19225 currently no reserve
has some mods that do not look to be reversible without some extra effort (no mention of what is done or what parts come with so "swap meet scrounging" might be required)
with #73 having a few unknowns not selling for $24k and Doc's with no stories not moving at $26 this looks like a $18k car to me
any opinions?
p.s. comes with two different certs of auth, one svt and one cobra R specific. the svt one looks like the one I got with my 94 new but the r one looks kinda hinky to me, is it legit?

Oh man... this is one to keep an eye on - for the right price maybe I can convince the wife I need two 95s and a 00 :)

Whenever I see "private listing - bidders' identities protected" in a day and age where Ebay already masks the identity of the bidders on vehicles, I stay far, far away from both the car being sold, and the seller as a whole.

Let's just call it a personal preference as such listing options cost the seller extra money to offer, and leave it at that

The first certificate is actually original from when the car was built in 95. Over the years, there were different signatures depending on who was in charge of SVT. As an example, you could call SVT back in 2000 and request a certificate for a 95R and it would be signed by Tom Scarpello, not Tim Boyd. A lot of collectors don't understand the signatures should be timely to the year the car was built and people at SVT.

Anyway, the R certificate is one of the newer ones available through Ford today. I believe they cost around $30.

thanks for this Tom, I have seen a few of them but I was not sure if they were legit or a well meaning repro type deal, in all honesty they look kinda fake to me with how the r seems to overlap the rest of the writing. at least now I know
thanks again

sold for $19,900 not bad considering the few questions with the car. I was expecting about $18,000 so about 10% higher.

There's another one with 6K miles that has been listed multiple times for $24K. The price on the 9K mile car that just sold seems about right.

Yeah, I think that was a good buy, and a good sell. You certainly don't see many ultra-low mileage Rs pop up for sale.

this car was on and off sale for months before it finally sold for the $19,900
and who buys it but a dealer out of Texas who puts it on eBay in less than a month for nearly $28k. I thought the $19 was high

Considering there has been a 900 mile 95R on the Bay forever and the price is $28K for what appears to be a complete 1 owner car, I would say $28K is way high for that flip. That dealer paid about what the car is currently worth. 95's never really gained traction.
