So I had the Sai Li fuel system (with the GT500 pumps) installed on my car last year so I could run E85 and was wondering if I should run an aftermarket fuel filter. I know the stock GT fuel filter is built into the tank but I'm not sure if it is part of the stock fuel pump assembly that was removed or if it is located somewhere else in the tank. So I guess I'm wondering if I have any fuel filter at all now that I switched to the Sai Li fuel pump module, which is a modified 13-14 GT500 fuel pump. The GT500 has an external fuel filter, the same one that the 05-10 mustangs use, and is part of the fuel line. I was planning on adding a fuel filter that is E85 compatible. Anyone have any recommendations on what brand to run? Also anyone know what size the stock feed line is on our cars so I know what size fittings to buy? Thanks in advance

Also for anyone that doesn't believe me that our car's fuel filter is built into the tank, see page 243 in the owner's manual

Nice, I'm making similar power as you so I may want to look into it. I was able to get a hold of Sai on his facebook page and he was saying the in tank filters are fine and that if anything gets past those you have bigger issues. However I would rather be safe than sorry. Would you happen to know what size fittings I would need to install that filter in the stock feed line?

So you’re saying the stock feed line can’t be modified? Where did you get your AN lines from?

You basically need one of these at the hat,

then run AN line down under car to fuel filter, the AN line to rail. You will need another efi to AN fitting at rail as well.

I think both hat and rail are 3/8" on the clip side.
Im pretty sure i ran -06 AN on feed side as it's basically 3/8" line and if the stock line supports 900whp, i figured it's plenty

Summit, russel, fragola, vibrant all make these fittings....pick what you like!!
I used the plastic clip style at the hat and the threaded style at the rail(wont fit at the hat)

Also need this at the rail
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/fra-498303-bl/overview/

female end attached to the fitting attached to rail.
One Male end gets the line from the fliter.
Other male end runs then to the regulator, the back to hat...

These are not necassarily the exact brand and parts i used, as I don't remember 100%. but they should all work
