I need to research the value of this car, but I hope to get it listed for sale in the next 3-4 months. I inherited the car from my father and it has been kept in the shop behind the house for years. The value is a little tricky to tell since it's not stock. I'm just giving everyone a heads up. I will be keeping car #142 for myself.

I can speak for the authenticity of #57. Gene, Jeremy's father, bought the care with the help of Todd M. The car has authentic IMSA Professional Race History and was also raced by Gene in American Iron. The car was repainted to it's correct IMSA livery by Gene. There are less than 20 REAL Rs with Professional Race History. This opportunity does not present itself very often.

Any luck of proceeding with the restoration of those cars?

Good memories! I am surprised he has the 16" Steeda Hexcentrics on it. As I recall, he used to track it with the 17" 5 spoke R rims.

Those Steedas have value. 17" were not allowed by IMSA. They had to use 16" and Steeda had those made because they were wider than anything else available at the time.

I have 2 sets of the Hexcentrics. I got them from the guy in Goldsboro NC that used to race in IMSA. I cant remember his name right now. Used to run them on the 93R. The fronts have a different backspace than the rears to fit over the PBRs on the 93.
I could never figure out if on the SN95s if they ran them the same way.

The first set Steeda made required spacers to clear the PBR calipers as I recall. They did a second run that had proper backspacing so the spacer wasn't required.

There was also 2 other types of 16x8 cheater rims used by 93R and 95Rs:
Revolution RFX- England
Technomagniesuim (sp) -Italy

These are both more difficult to find than the Rial Hexcentrics. Very limited numbers were used.

Tom that explains the Rials. I had heard about the spacers but could never confirm.

Jeremy, I had the pleasure of meeting your dad a few times over the years at different events.

I did not know he had passed, I’m sorry to hear this.

The Techno were prone to cracking and not used very long. Gosh, this is so hard to remember. I believe there were two versions, 5 and 6 spoke. One was worse than the other. I talked Chuck Snipes out of a set as long as I promised to never mount race tires and run them at speed. I got them when I picked up the #24 chassis.
