Tired of hearing this garbage about women get treated differently and payed less and dont get the opportunitys like men.
My mom and 2 of my sisters are nurses and 1 sister works for USPS. There very good at what they do. My sister which is an RN saved my moms life when she was in the hospital because the doctor wanted to give her some drug with major side affects instead of using a less potent drug. My mom works her ass off and is a very hard worker same with my other sisters.
Im all for women equality but at the same time theres jobs that women just cant do. Obevoulsy with my experience i have seen women do amazing in the medical field. But i dont think they can do well when it comes to hard labor. I work in the oil field and theres always some new engineer girl that thinks she can do anything a man can do but when she needs to come out side and swing a hammer for 12 hours straight like every man on location she cant take the heat and last 10 minutes tops and goes back to the a/c or cant take the cold and quit. Ive seen this happen all the time out here. Even when i was in construction i didnt see a women unless she was inside the trailer. How often do you see a female roofer? Or a female linemen or a female roughneck?
Im sorry but theres just jobs for men, jobs for women and some jobs for both. Majority of tasks that requires being out in the elements and heaving lifting are not for women.
As for them saying they dont get the same opportunity as men is crap, well atleast in the jobs thats ive had. The engineers ive seen start here are now in the head office runing jobs from behind the desk after 1 year because there a women and because there pretty. Period!
Is it just me or are men being pushed down because of some cry baby females that cant realize thats theres just some jobs thats not meant for them?

Sorry for the rant. Just got off a conference call with a female engineer that knows nothing about the job design(had to keep reminding her) yet shes in charge of it and shes only been here for less then a year and shes in her early 20s.

Frac?

Id have to agree with her, there are better jobs then swinging a hammer for 12 hours.

I had a philosophy class in College with a very liberal female professor. To be fair, she did a very good job of keeping her opinion out and just facilitating open discussion so I will give her that... until we got to feminism.

She went on a rant about how Women only hold like X % of government positions and males have always this and blah, blah, blah, all these statistics and because I HATE blanket statements I raised my hand and asked the following question:
"There's ways to measure how many women are not in government positions, but it is impossible to measure how many women WANT to be in government positions, so what's the point of these statistics? All they're doing is saying that more positions are filled by men, but it is impossible to quantify how many women want those same positions."
Silence, she had no answer because i'd knocked her off a soap box. I wasn't being a dick, but it's a valid point, her stats were meaningless.

Her follow up point was women in the field of sociology, and how shes the only woman from her bacherlors program and masters program to continue on with her PHD because its such a hard field for women. She then followed up to say she makes $35k a year and I'm like lol... well that's why no one else bothered to get a PHD in a profession that doesn't pay shit, not because of your BS "this field is hard for women."

I feel opportunity should be available for either sex, but the job should be given to the most qualified individual, **** or not.

Some females can do hard labor better than the average men. This is a very small, very elite group though.

Workin in a woman's world is no joke dude...they run thier mouths more than they work...and its usually about a guy workin there. We **** everything or so they think. One second alone with a chick and the rest of em think you're ****in her. And they will give you all kinds of shit for not understanding things since you have a dick...but when they need help they will ask you first, and then they will reward you by never helping you when ya need it

We thought that we had a break in the other night at our house. We heard a loud noise, then the wireless security panel in the bedroom started acting up..It must have been a weird coincidence, but I digress.. I grabbed my trusty Beretta and cleared the house. Three stories and 8 doors made for quick ingress and egress. So it took a few minutes to make sure everything was buttoned up. I reset the alarm and came back to the bedroom.
  • My wife said "why are you scared to walk through the house?"..
  • I said, "I wasn't scared, just prepared.."
  • Her, "then why did you take a gun (weapon)?"..
  • Me, "uhm being prepared to protect you and the kids."...
  • Her, "You were scared"
  • I said, "next time, you clear the house..You can take the "gun" as well."
  • Her, "Heck no! I'd be to scared!"
  • Me.."See the difference?"

Lol my wife does the same thing:

"Go see what that noise was"
I grab the gun
"what are you taking the gun for?"
"Well you obviously think something or someone is in the house if you're that concerned about ME going and checking it out" lol...

We had this women mechanic who was saying shes so good and can do anything a man can do. She had a pink tool box, stickers with women power etc. Then a service writer postition opened up and even though this one guy was suppose to get it with his 7 year + experience, she got the job because she pulled the "theres to many men" service writers. She was only with the company for 2 years max and she wasnt even good. She hated touching any fluids and mostly watched you tube videos at her pink box. I have yet to meet a women that can do a labor intensive job. Im sure there out there but i think its less then 1%.

I hear you man. That’s disgusting.

This type of crap happens all the time, regardless of sex. Ive seen where an lady with 10 years experience (master at their craft and extremely dedicated) gets passed for a position that they were virtually already doing. Only to give it to the guy with 1 year experience. Then to add insult to injury, they had her train him on the position, once he got promoted and she got declined.

The world just aint fair sometimes.

Just what in the hell do you think being a nurse is? Seriously. Labor intense.
When is the last time you couldn't take a break or piss for 8 hours? When is the last time you worked a 16 hour shift to keep someone alive?
You are showing just how ignorant you are....
Maybe you all should associate with different people because the women I work with all bust their ass. They bring in food on the days that you forget lunch, offer to help if you get in a jam and need a temp babysitter, go out of their way to bring each other into work if one cannot get to the hospital and keep uninformed morons alive.....
Women may not be able to keep up 100% of the time in physical aspects but they have all of you beat on compassion and empathy.
Sure they complain, just like a lot of you guys here that have a "monthly flow."

I said "listen rook, the day you break ribs for an hour is the day I'll let you run your ****in mouth, I won the battle but the angel death is gonna win that war and I honestly don't give a shit, I did my best and she is still here...so I suggest you exist else where...yes I'm tired and I need to wash the blood of my shoes...bye bye now"
