2009 Spark plugs for 2.5" pulley

What spark plugs should I run when doing installing a 2.5" pulley?

Also, what's the stock heat range on our cars?

Spark plug part numbers would be greatly appreciated. That way I can cross reference.

I called to see if I would need to re tune the car after adding the pulley and spark plugs. They said that it's not necessary. Because it would still run in the same torque tables.
Any input on this?

FWIW I ran the stock plugs on my 11 and my 12 with the 2.5 vmp pulley with zero issues. My 11 only had 8k miles on it with stock plugs when I did the pulley swap and I ran it that way for almost a year before swapping to the TVS, at which point I swapped to the NGK’s. TR6IX should be stock heat range equivalent and the tr7ix is one step colder.

What about the tune part? Did you have to retune after the pulley swap?
I was told that the torque tables stay the same. So it wouldn't be necessary.

You can run the smaller pulley with no tune, but you wont take as much advantage of the extra air flow. Tune will get the most out of the increase air, even a cat tune. The tunes for pulley swaps have been pretty ironed out for our cars for the last few years. ITs when you get to bigger blowers that you NEED a new tune. *edit* if you get a larger intake system, a tune is MANDATORY. Your car will not run right, AT ALL without one.

Been running NGK TR7ix's almost since I bought my car. TR6 is a great plug, but will wear faster than the Iridium TR7ix. I still swap mine out yearly, mainly because its inexpensive to do so and a fresh plug is a happy plug. I usually keep the plugs that come out in case I need one in a pinch. Realistically, a set of iridium plugs should go at least 30k in our applications. #racecar :D

I'm not changing anything in the car other than the pulley at this time. I'm probably going to go with the TR6IX and then do some data logging to send to bama tunes for any necessary adjustments.
