Just installed my procharger w/ cobra jet setup and am learning quickly that i'll need better tires to put any power down past 3rd gear. Are there any tires non drag radial that would be remotely competent? Thinking about going to a nt555r as the car is my daily and they seem to get the most mileage as far as radials go but I'm running 20x10 w/only a 45 offset so I'm worried they'll poke out on a 305/35/20. Would super sports stand any chance?

Might have to switch to a higher offset wheel but if I don't have to that'd be good.

I drive the car about 7k miles a year so if I have to buy a new set of rears every 1-1.5 years it's not a huge deal.

My MPSS didn’t cut it. Grabbed some ET/SS’s (19”) on an extra set of rear wheels for dry weather days.

Had a set of ET Street S/S and they were outstanding on dry pavement, although these Mickey Thompson tires were not as good as the Nitto drags in wet conditions. If you can't avoid the rain, just drive slower.

TBH, I am running Prochager setup with 265 MT ET Drag radial SS's on 18's, and I can't hook. I can't imagine running a radial, as my car has only ever been on drag radials. I am going to be swapping to a 15" wheel so I can get some more sidewall
