FS: 03 vert white/black top VMP Rovos

Up for is 03 vert white with black top. Car has 46k Miles. I bought the car locally. I’ve put about 800-1000 miles on it.

When I bought the car it was presented with a clean title so I had no need to run a carfax. Fast forward 6 months later I was gonna get a loan and use car as collateral to put a building in back yard to store car. News flash car was a total loss in 2009.

So I contacted DMV. They investigated and since car entered NC with a clean West Virginia title there is no legal action I could really take other than civil which would be a crap shoot BC the previous owner paid top dollar for car as well.

So the car will have to be sold with a salvage title.

It’s very frustrating but what can u do.

Huh. I don’t know how to interpret what Carfax is showing. So you get a new title due to the inaccurate mileage and then it doesn’t show as a salvage title?

I’m not sure either. It went from Tennessee to Texas to Tennessee in 3 months

Trying to gather any information I can on the car. Previous owners seem to know nothing

So did you buy it from fastlane or do somebody else and you bought it from them ?

I bought it from a guy name Troy in Wilson. He bought it from Fastlane or Caleb to be specific. I haven’t spoken with him BC I didn’t buy it from him.

I do know a potential buyer had reached out to them to acquire info and mods and such and didn’t get much feedback.

I personally am not accusing either two of wrongdoing. That happened well before they had it. Just trying to acquire as much info as posibble.

I’ve had 5 terminators and didn’t need every exact detail when I bought it.

I got call from DMV late last week. When I get a day off I may ride up to Fastlane and just see if they have info on who they got it from.

At least point it’s about finding out what was extent of wreck and who fixed it. BC it’s gonna be hard to get insured now for a potential buyer without any info.

Hard to believe it’s been on road 10 years and 4 owners later to find out... but oh well.

Sorry to hear about this, I most likely was the one that you are referring to as a potential buyer. I called Fastlane to inquire about a few items on the vehicle but did not get much response or help, so I let it go.

Roger that. Yeah man. Thanks for the interest. Sorry there’s not more info out there about the car. Maybe I need to get Shaggy Scooby and the rest of the gang to hop into the Mystery Machine and solve this mystery. Jk

Dyno numbers are on e85.

It has a 93 tune but I’ve never switched over. Tops in good shape for a car that’s 15 years old. No rips or tears. I’ll have to get pics in the a.m. currently working night shift.

I’ve drove it with no issues. I rode down to beach which is a couple hours away.

I also called them and didn’t get much help. You’d think it be the oppsotite as one of the employees or business owner actually owned this Terminator. I was also a potential buyer but my insurance wants lots of details and pics of the car if they insure it. They will do it but they want some info on what happen for full coverage. Liability Is no issue

I started a thread in the LEO section in attempt to possibly get some info on it. I can only get Info form NC DMV. But maybe there’s some guys on here in LEO in the states it’s been in could get some info.

As of now no responses... but we’ll see

Spoke with TN DMV. They requested a title history in TN. Said it could take a week or more. So hopefully any day now I’ll have some kind of info

No record of a wreck in TN. They inturn reached out to Kentucky authorities. The state of Kentucky gets rid of title info after 5 years.

Only state left is to inquire with is Texas and check with carfax to see if a mistake was made on their end.
