What is your hand position (on the streering wheel) while driving?

I usually assume a 12 and 4 o’clock position.

For some reason, when I see a person driving at the 10 and 2 position sitting straight up with eyes fixated dead ahead, I assume that person to be the type who makes sudden and erratic decisions if something happens on the road.

Am I alone in this?

One at 12:00 and one around a perfect 10, just like the rest of you. This is SVTP.

Drive with my left hand usually at 6. Sorry no 10/2 here. At the track usually hold it at 8 tucked up against my waist so it doesn't jerk.

Same. Either that with either hand or right hand at 12 while left arm is propped atop driver side door with window down.

I think a lot of it depends of the design of ur steering wheel. I drive with a slightly different hand position at work with a different car.

That’s what I’m am afraid of when I’m driving the Scat and paddle shifting. Especially at the light. Feel like other drivers are probably laughing at the dork in the Slopar.

I once got bored on a trip from Tucson to El Paso (at night, almost zero traffic) and put my forearms in my shirt sleeves and drove with my elbows at the 10 and 2.

Normal driving, left hand approx 9 o'clock and right hand 4-5. Elbow rests on top of door or arm rest and right hand is free to do whatever.

If traffic is bad, 9-3.

Left elbow hanging out the window, right hand resting on the wheel and Def leppard blasting from the speakers

No hands, I drive with my knee so I can text, light my cigarette and drink my beer. Rookies...

My dad drove like this except there were no cell phones. Thought it was the coolest thing.

I drive with left hand on steering wheel and right on wife’s boob cause I like to stop short.
