Awesome build.

I like the rear trunk floor. Did you just cut a hole big enough for your trunk mount to show through?

I cut hole into carpet yes. I double side taped the carpet down to the tank and cut hole. But the tank itself is bolted to spare tire floor.

Wow! Thats a dream build. I would corn it though, for the safety of that sweet motor.

That is an expensive and nice build to chance it with 93/meth. Ethanol all the way....there is no better insurance policy besides just leaving the car in the garage as a piece of art. Lol

My thoughts exactly. E85 Only available in one area around me so I went methanol plus u will be at the gas pumps often cause gas mileage sucks so if its not convenient and available its just not worth the hassle.

I mite still do an E85 tune not sure yet but everyday driving is 93 pump/meth.

Car looks wicked u sure didn't cut any corners. Low 9's seems doable at prob 148-150 mph. Only downside to tuning methanol as fuel is if the pump fails so does ur motor. I would make so u have fail safes in there for that.

Rims look wicked!

Don't want to deal with testing. The smell seeping into lines. And it's not at every station. I don't want to have to plan my route based on gas stations

Thanks man. I have Malcolms dual wideband lean protection box and Aem meth and wideband failsafe gauges. Also have a nicer meth kit then most with 3 gallon tank and low light.

I'm not planning on depending on the meth it's just extra octane. Hope it to work but who knows.

I'm thinking mid to higher 8xx on 93/meth and 9xx with 101/ meth 80/20 mix with distilled water.
Probably a glory pass with nitrous 100shot on nano system with 101/meth would be awesome to crack 1k wheel

To say that's an impressive build is an understatement. Well done! Yeah, you put a lot of money, time and sweat into it but when you can say "it's done", you're going to really enjoy it. For many years to come!

I love your Lightning, by the way.
Couldn't have sat it better Bob!
Congrats on this build, gonna be a monster

Sent from that shiny thing in my hands

Beautiful Beautiful car! Just FYI Preblower Meth does not work as the heating comes from the compression in the blower case. You need to spray lower intake if you are going Meth. Also you are leaving about 100rwhp on the table not doing E85 on that build. You are looking at mid 700s on 93/Meth and probably low to mid 800s on the other.

Wow, impressive build. Loving the car and the attention to detail. Talk about a nice setup. The trunk tank is very clean I like that idea. Keep us posted on progress!

Thanks. Yes that's malcoms lean box in the glove box. I got it idling waiting on tuner to come out and look it over before dyno.
