I haven’t bought a drum yet, and I have to drive a little over half an hour to get E85. I plan to buy a fuel tank and put an electric pump on it.

I am running an Aeromotive Eliminator in tank fuel pump with an Aeromotive speed controller.

Where are you guys getting your 55 gal drums? Do you have any fume issues? What pump do you use for the tank?
Im going to go this route as there is only 1 or 2 stations on my area, both about 45 min away

You won't have fume issues if you get PTFE (teflon lined) hose. I'm running twin 465s. Basically the Fore Level 1E with upgraded pumps.

I was talking about fumes from the drums you guys store it in. Any safety precautions to take for storing it?
I plan on getting basically your setup you listed too

If you’re willing to spend some money, buy a tank that goes in the back of a truck. This is the route I think I will go. They are more robust than a drum and they just look nicer.

Are you talking a tidy tank or something else? Cause aren’t tidy tanks vented? Where a drum is sealed.
Should have gas smell from a sealed drum.

I'm talking about a tank that you can put a pump in to that has lift points on it. Moving a full 55 gallon drum around would get old. I would just use my engine hoist to lift the tank in and out of my truck then set the tank outside.
