Hi,
Have an 08 with blower upgrade and want to upgrade clutch. Tousley has the 13-14 clutch and flywheel shipped for right at $600. Interested in what you guys think of stock clutch. RXT is pretty pricy, not interested in daily driving a cera metallic clutch. BTDT

I'm putting out 690 lbs torque at the rear on stock clutch set up. Daily drive in good weather on stock rubber. If I ran at the track with sticky tires I would upgrade clutch...but for playing around town zero problems at 13,000 miles.

I have 21K on the stock clutch. The car has been open tracked and at one time had longitudes and Vans 13-6 kit making 721 ft-lbs of torque on a Mustang Dyno. I think my clutch has lasted as long as it has because I never banged through the gears. I didn't need to. I could fry the tires at will in most gears used on the street.

My stock clutch recently gave up at the track as I was shifting from 2nd to 3rd, the car has 6500miles, and i'm making 757rwtq.

Stock 3.31s. My opinion of the stock clutch may be changing. See recent post on Driveline Vibration in this forum.

How much power are you making now? If your DD the car the 13-14 clutch will work great for your needs. If doing alot of drag racing and making aound 700tq then it may not be holding up too long

I'm still on the stock clutch. ~18K miles at stock power level, including ~30 race passes. ~5K miles at 733 RWHP & 713 RWTQ, including ~8 race passes.

Clutch life on '13-14 cars are rear gear dependent when you add a sticky tire. Pretty simple really, with lower mechanical advantage from stock 3.31s, more stress on the stock clutch when you use it most---sticky tire from a dig.
