Didnt know where to post this. How Can I remove the circled section to repin this type of connector. I tried pressing the little clip on the side but it wouldn’t budge. Is there a trick by chance.

You need a tool to go through the topside were the pins are for the tabs . Then the wires just pull out through the bottom and push the new ones in they will only go one way.

Look in the "how-to" section, I have a long description and pics on re-pinning for install of a Roush TVS

Yep. Specialized tool is needed.

I found one of those ‘special tools’ at a good guys car show/swap meet when they came to Fort Worth a few years back. I needed it to re-pin the connecter on my CJ throttle body. One of those tools that are hard to find, and when you loan them out like I did, are harder to get back.
Best shot would prolly be an electronics supply house.

I used a ground down eye glass repair flat head screw driver. Made it a breeze when i re-pinned my TB.

This thread reminded me about the tool I used to make re pinning the CJ throttle body somewhat less tedious. Here is a picture of it.

So, $5 for the tool. $12 for the ticket to get into the show and buy it. $14 for the 12 pak of beer I took to my buddies house to drink with him and get my tool back.
Was it worth it? Yup.
Now it's back in my toolbox where it belongs when I need it again.
