Driver side cam / valve cover removal

I loosened the master cylinder and pushed it against the fender. I also lowered the K member to get more clearance.

I had to remove the master cylinder and hydro booster when taking mine off on my Mach 1. They sure did cram that engine in that small car.

Ok now what exactly do you mean buddy ? I removed the 4 main bolts that hold the whole assembly to the firewall and it still is tight and seams like it dosnt want to move

There's a bracket underneath it that's bolted to the fender. You need to unbolt that to get a little more movement.

Oh ok i missed that . Was kind of in a hurry today and only had about an hour to work on it . I’ll check that out tomorrow. Do any of the hard lines have to come off ? Or is there enough play there ?

Just did mine a few days ago. Loosen motor mount and jack it up. It was still pretty tough but it’s doable with some patience.

I didn't loosen any of the hard lines. I had to give the master cylinder a good pull to get it clear of the firewall though.
