Oh Canada!
I'm in the process of gathering all the parts to lower my car & I bought a set of Steeda LCA relocation brackets last year because I found them on ebay for a really good deal & want them to work the with Steeda billet LCA arms I already have, but I'm starting to second guess my choice on parts before I get them installed. Since these brackets specifically state they must be welded on I'd really like to make sure these are the ones I want to run before I commit to going ahead & getting them installed somewhat permanently. What seems to make the Steeda brackets different than any other brand & the part I'm starting to second guess is they don't have an additonal vertical "arm" that bolts up to the axle higher up on the bracket like say a BMR bracket has. Is this something I should be at all worried about or will the welding take care of any concerns I may have about it being as structurally sound as the other brackets that are available on the market & have additional attachment points to the axle? Any advice or personal experience with these would be appreciated!

Steeda brackets for reference...

Another brand such as BMR has this additional higher attachment point...

The one in your pic is bmr older version. They have an updated version with 3 holes instead of 2. Also bigger on the top side to add another bolt where there is a hole kinda circled blue.

I agree I liked the extra arm. Mine aren’t welded

I think it depends on how rough you are going to be on your car. Are you going to launch it at the drag strip?

If you weld it in you don't need the additional attachment points. If you just want something to bolt in, as opposed to welding, I would not use the Steeda piece. There are better options.

Get those steedas welded and you’ll be good to go. I’ve used them with the streeda lca and was very happy with them.

If I remember correctly you had them on a 07-09 GT500, but took them back off & sold them on here when the dealership had to buy your last car back? Were they welded on you had them previously installed or just bolted on? Sorry if I have the wrong guy...

The brackets looks cool from behind.

I have the Steeda brackets and LCAs as well. No complaints. She spins the tires like mad and stays dead straight. o_O

Great to hear, I appreciate you're feed back!

I went with the BMR bolt on pair. Ended up welding them. Weld them for sure.

Will do!
