I started wondering what it would have been with the windows up. A Z06 was hitting 161 mph. Or i might just need testosorone supplements.

Which group did you run in? My friend ran in intermediate with his Stealth Gray Focus RS.
Need to find stuff like that up here
Video from the May event. I entered in Intermediate and was asked to move into advanced after the first session. Improved on my best lap time by 3 seconds and had a max speed of 156 mph. A very good time.

I can't wait to run this course one day...but $175 for (3) 20 minute sessions is STEEP!

At your first-ever track event?
It was my second at this track.
Nice. Get an instructor in your car to tighten up the lines and you can knock more time off.
I rode with a more experienced driver in a SS 1LE. Same suspension, same tires.......no supercharger. He was running just a few clicks slower than me with 200 less HP. I got a better appreciation of what lines to take and think there is at least 5 seconds to be gained on that track configuration. I'm braking too much, especially on the speedway sections. I need to find my inner Ricki Bobby and stay off the brakes on the oval.
Unfortunately I went through a full tank of gas (19 Gallons) in the first two 20 minute sessions. I only got 3 laps in after the "tutoring".
The GM Performance Data Recorder is an awesome piece of hardware and facilitates a faster learning curve. I hope Ford includes something similar in the GT500.

That was my friend Kevin Box in the S550. Some other friends and I were there just spectating.
Did pretty well at the SCCA Memorial Monster Time Trials. Awesome experience.

Awesome man! There are a good many of us Vette owners going to TNiA at the Roval the 8th I think. I am trying to take my Z to the July one. Shoot I live right down the road from CMP lol.

Sweet! I think my buddy in his Velocity Yellow C6Z will be there and maybe another buddy with his Collectors Edition C7GS. I unfortunately have to work this go around.
