Kicked out of the track in my RS7 today!!!

made my first pass 10.7@128 and then tech came and told me anything less than 11.49 I needed a cage. They were nice enough to let me do a second pass without anyone next to me though. Second pass 10.7@129.

11.49? Is that really the rule? I haven’t heard of other tracks enforcing that.

Yep any NHRA track....usually on test’tune nights they might let it slide to an extent

Very impressive time. Congrats!

In regards to the roll bar rule. How was tech able to know that your car isn't stock? NHRA rule for 2008 and newer cars says you don't need a bar until 9.99 if you are unaltered. So how did they know you weren't stock? Compare your time to manufacturer claimed times?

Yes. I knew that going in. I told them it was stock but they somehow knew it wasn’t. Lol.
